Welcome to 阿巴德印度餐廳 Abad Indian Halal Restaurant, proudly serving authentic Indian halal cuisine in Taipei, Taiwan. As the first South Indian restaurant in Taiwan, we are honored to share the rich traditions, flavors, and hospitality of India with the local community and international visitors.

Our journey began in 2015, when we opened our very first restaurant near Taipei Arena. With the love and support of our customers, we expanded our business and opened our second branch in Neihu in 2016. Later, in 2018, we proudly launched our third restaurant in the Xinyi District, continuing our mission to introduce authentic South Indian cuisine to more people across Taipei.

Over the years, Abad Indian Halal Restaurant became well known for its traditional Indian flavors, halal food, warm hospitality, and family-friendly atmosphere. We were proud to serve customers from different cultures and backgrounds, including local Taiwanese guests, students, tourists, Muslim families, and the international community living in Taiwan.

However, like many businesses around the world, we faced major challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the difficult situation caused by the pandemic, we made the hard decision to close two of our restaurant branches. Despite these challenges, we continued our passion for serving authentic Indian cuisine and remained committed to our customers.

Today, in 2026, we proudly continue our journey with our restaurant located in Houshanpi, Taipei. Although we now operate one location, our dedication to quality, authenticity, and customer satisfaction remains stronger than ever.

At Abad Indian Halal Restaurant, we specialize in authentic South Indian and North Indian halal cuisine prepared using fresh ingredients, traditional recipes, and carefully selected Indian spices. From dosas and biryanis to flavorful curries, tandoori dishes, and freshly baked naan breads, every meal is prepared with care and passion by our experienced chefs.
